Well after my webserver was hacked I changed all my passwords as quickly as possible, the problem is I forgot what I set them to. Well this morning I finally remembered what they are and was able to access the server to update all every thing. I’ll try to upload some more pictures asap.

Finally I got the site running again. My webserver was hacked, its my own fault I was lax with the security and permissions. But I finally got it back up and running, and I’m being much more careful with it now.

So after about a week of trying to find plugins to do things I needed on my site and porting over all 2200 photos to the new photogallery. I’m finaly done. The only thing left is for me to find a theme that I like. If you have any ideas let me know.

I’m pretty sure I got everything working the way I want it on this wordpress, The last thing for me to do is get the photo gallery moved over from the old site, I have a migration script but I ran out of time during my lunch break to move everything over so it will have to wait till after work to finish. Once the photo galleries are moved over that should be the last piece of the puzzle before I move this site into production to replace the php-fusion site I had running for almost 2 years.

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter, I’m stuck at work this morning but I will be off this evening and be eating dinner at the soon to be inlaws house. Since Leonidas and Lucky get along so well he will be coming too.

I'm porting over to wordpress

Well 2009 is over and we are now in 2010, it seems like yesterday that we were all freaking out about the y2k bug. I guess that’s how it goes, time just fly’s. Oh I will be posting up some pictures from new years eve, and the pics I took on the road trip moving back to Texas. So what did you guys do for years eve?

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy 4th of July. I hope everyone had a good time and got to see some fire works. I know we had a good time, read more to hear about it. Christie and I decided to spend the weekend at my parents house in Irvine. On the day of the 4th we got a my sister and her boyfriend to bike with us from the house all the way to Balboa Island, by way of Backbay. it was a nice leisurely ride with plenty of breaks. John, my sister’s BF was the funniest part of the whole trip him on that bike was something to be seen. If he wasn’t falling into traffic then he was flying into some trees or bushes. We stopped and grabbed some Subway to eat when we got the the end. The trip was 11.02 miles to Balboa and took 3-4 hours. We stayed and Watched the Fireworks as we ate our delicious Subway sandwiches. Christie and John were too tired to make the trip back so Veronica and I biked back to the house, which took about 40 min, and grabbed the van and then went to pick them up. Once we got back to the house we were dead tired and went straight to bed. All in all it was a very good day.

Good News!!! I found a way to mass upload photos to the site. So be expecting a lot more pictures coming soon in the photo galleries. I was having to upload all the pictures one by one, which after 100 pictures was starting to be a pain. But not anymore, some nice guy went and wrote a nice little uploader program that connects to the site and uploads the pictures for me. all i have to do is drag and drop a whole bunch on pictures into the uploader and it just sits there and does the hard work of uploading and naming the pictures for me. w00t!!
