Christie got some free tickets for us to go to Wings Over Houston. She had to drive the bus there and ended up having to chaperon some kids. It was really hot and there was alot of walking involved. It was a fun day however I doubt i would go again with the school field trip. There are some cool pics in the photo gallery of some pf the planes, there is even some really cool shots of a “Near” super sonic fly by of an F-18.

The closing went pretty smoothly and went really well. we signed a bunch of papers and now we own a house. We moved most of our stuff in this past weekend. The house is starting to feel more an more like home. We went out Sunday and bought a bunch of stuff for the house, who knew buying a home would be so expensive. We bought 3 fans (bedroom, living room, and porch), a bad ass Grill (stainless steel char-broil), String Trimmer (decided to go with a 4-cycle so I don’t have to worry about mixing fuel),  blinds for the windows on the rear doors, some sprinklers and hoses, I even bought a few L.E.D. light bulbs to try out. All and all it was a good weekend. Even Leo had a good time, he was very excited about having his very own backyard that he can run around and play in.

Well after almost 5 months of waiting our house will finally be finished and we will be closing tomorrow. I have been soooooo excited that I barely slept all week. There are some new pics in the gallery of the house being finished.

It was such a nice morning we decided to take Leonidas to the park. he had such a good time he was even swiming around and playing with his ball in the water.

The house is pretty much done at this point. Just fixing a couple things here and there. In one week from today we will be closing and finally be able to move in.

So Christie and I are building a house right now, I put some initial pics in the photo album already and will put up more once we actually break ground.

This weekend is my Bachelor party will update with more info and pics lata.

So there is now only 15 days till the wedding, and things that we planning are starting to come into play for instance the wedding shower is tomorrow and the bachelor party is the weekend after that. We finally got all RSVP’s in and got the final count for the wedding. This is a very exciting time for us as we get closer the wedding.

So last week (June 18th) a fire destroyed the offices at our apartment complex. It looks like it started on the far side of the building in an equipment shed and spread quickly to the rest of the building. I was just about to sit down at my desk at work when Christie called me. She knows that I can’t answer my phone while at work so I knew it had to be something serious. So I called her back thats when sh told me about the fire, and that everything was alright and that I didn’t need to leave work. Yeah right!!! There is no way I was going to sit at work while a building right next to my apartment was on fire. So I left work and got home as quickly as I could, which is a good thing too cause by the time I got there the fire was still burning and my apartment is right next to the burning building and down wind. Christie’s mother came by to pick up Leonidas and take him for the day. I think there were 4 or 5 different fire trucks there battling the blaze and finally get the it under control. After all was said and done there was no damage to our apartment building but the main offices were destroyed along with all our mail, no one was hurt and I was able to go back to work. I will be uploading pictures of the fire later.

Its a really busy time for us right now, with alotta things going on right now and coming up soon. First off, today is Christie’s Birthday, unfortunately I had to work today so I could have time off next weekend for family and friends vacation in seguine. Plus the wedding is only 35 days away, there will be family flying in form all over the country. My Grandma, Aunt Laura, my Cousin Mary Margret, Aunt Javon, and my other cousin Mackenzie will be flying in for the wedding, which we are very excited about. Then there is the honey moon after the wedding, which will be in Puerto Viaerta. In the mean time Life keeps on chugging along here, Leonidas is getting bigger it probably close to 7-8 lbs at this point and keeps getting bigger by the day.
